By using Lobby Tennis, including submitting forms, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Use cover eligibility, safety, and your responsibilities. Safety tips and community guidelines are the short practical pages.

1. Who we are

Operator: Lobby Tennis. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Lobby Tennis, the operator of this website. This page does not claim a company, insurance, or a parks partnership.

Lobby Tennis is a standalone brand. It is not Wingz. Contact us at the email above.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

• The Lobby Tennis website at lobbytennis.com and related preview or staging sites we operate
• Forms we use today: join / profile, claim an open-match seat, waitlist, and service-interest forms (stringing, ball machine, lessons)
• Future features when they exist (real accounts, a mobile app). We will update this Policy before those go live

This Policy does not cover:

• How other players use information they see about you on the match board (name, photo, level, claimed seats) after you share it through the product
• Third-party websites we link to (for example city parks pages, maps, or social links). Those sites have their own policies

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you provide

Depending on which forms you use, you may give us:

• Name
• Email address
• Optional profile photo
• Skill or play level, neighborhood or park preferences, and availability
• Match claims and short notes related to open matches or the waitlist
• Service-interest details (stringing, ball machine, lessons)
• Messages you send us (for example support or deletion requests)

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the site, we or our hosting provider may automatically receive limited technical data such as:

• IP address (the number that identifies a connection to the internet), device or browser type, and pages viewed
• Cookies or browser local storage (a small notebook the site keeps in the browser) used for sticky profiles, so this browser can remember profile choices without a full login yet

Analytics: If we enable a specific analytics tool (for example Vercel Analytics, Plausible, or Google Analytics), we will name the vendor here. Until then, assume only ordinary hosting and server logs apply.

3.3 Information from vendors

We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including:

• FlowForm (or a successor form tool) to collect form submissions
• An email provider that delivers form results and any notifications to our inbox
• Hosting (for example Vercel) for the website

3.4 What we do not currently collect

At soft launch we do not collect:

• Payment card numbers (we do not process payments yet)
• Government ID numbers
• Precise continuous GPS tracking (we are not following your phone around the city)

If that changes, we will update this Policy first.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Operate the open-match board (show profiles, seats, and claims so players can coordinate)
• Respond to waitlist and service-interest requests
• Improve the product and fix bugs
• Help with security, abuse prevention, and basic troubleshooting
• Comply with law when required
• With your consent, send product updates or a newsletter (you can unsubscribe from marketing emails; see section 11)

We do not use your information for purposes we do not actually perform (for example selling your data to ad networks). If our practices change, we will update this Policy.

5. How we share information

Other users (the match board)

If you join or claim a match with a profile, other visitors to the board may see information you choose to display, such as:

• Your name (or display name)
• Your optional photo
• Skill / level and related play details you provide
• That you claimed a seat on an open match

Do not put information on the board that you are not comfortable sharing with other adults using the product.

Service providers

We share information with vendors who help us run Lobby Tennis (FlowForm, hosting, email) only as needed to provide the service. They should not use your data for their own unrelated marketing.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that we must: to comply with law or legal process; to protect Lobby Tennis, users, or the public; or to respond to a genuine safety emergency.

Business transfer

If Lobby Tennis is sold, merged, or transferred in the future, personal information may move with the product.

We do not sell personal information

As a current practice, we do not sell your personal information. We also do not currently share it with third-party marketers or ad networks for their advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy.

6. Photos

Profile photos are optional.

• Purpose: help other players recognize who they are meeting at the park.
• Visibility: photos you upload for your profile may appear on the public match board and related product pages, visible to other users of the site.
• Your responsibility: only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission. Prefer a photo of yourself.
• Removal: email hello@lobbytennis.com to request that we remove or delete your photo. We will do so within a reasonable time for soft-launch operations.

7. Sticky profiles, cookies, and local storage

Soft launch uses browser sticky profiles: your browser may store profile choices locally so you do not need a password yet. This is not full account authentication (there is no login).

• Anyone with access to your device or browser may be able to use that sticky profile. Protect your device.
• You can clear this browser from Account (“Clear this browser”), or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
• When we add real sign-in, we will update this Policy and explain how sessions work.

8. Retention

We keep waitlist, match-claim, form, and email records for as long as we reasonably need them to operate Lobby Tennis, respond to you, improve the product, or meet legal obligations.

In plain terms: we keep data until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the purposes in section 4, whichever comes first, subject to any legal hold.

We do not yet publish a fixed “delete after X days” schedule. Soft-launch volume is small and inbox-driven.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate for a small soft-launch site (for example limiting who can read form submissions).

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use a strong unique password on your email account and report suspected incidents to hello@lobbytennis.com.

10. Children’s privacy

Lobby Tennis is directed to adults. Meetup and match features are intended for people who are 18 or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a U.S. federal law that restricts collecting personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 submitted information should email us immediately.

Our product rules go further for park meetups with people you may not know: we ask users to confirm they are 18+. That confirmation is self-attestation (you say so yourself). We do not check an ID.

11. Your choices and requests

You can email hello@lobbytennis.com to:

• Access or correct personal information we hold about you
• Delete your profile, photo, waitlist entry, or form data (we will confirm what we can remove from our systems and vendors)
• Remove a profile photo from the board
• Unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter emails

Some operational messages (for example replies about a match claim or service-interest form you submitted) may still be necessary if you continue using the service.

At soft launch, requests are handled manually by email within a reasonable time.

12. State privacy rights

If you live in Virginia, California, or another state with consumer privacy laws, you may have rights under those laws when they apply to us.

Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA): This Virginia law generally applies only to businesses that meet large user-volume or data-sale thresholds (for example, processing personal data of 100,000 or more consumers in a year, or a smaller volume combined with significant revenue from selling personal data). At our current soft-launch scale, VCDPA may not apply to Lobby Tennis. That is not a guarantee for the future. We will reassess as we grow.

California: California’s Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) generally expects commercial sites that collect personally identifiable information from California residents to post a privacy policy covering what is collected, how it is used, how people can review or change information, and how the policy is updated. This document is meant to address those topics in plain English.

Even when a specific statute may not yet apply, you can still contact us at hello@lobbytennis.com to make reasonable access, correction, or deletion requests, and we will try to honor them.

Do Not Sell or Share: We do not currently sell personal information. If we ever do, or if a “share for advertising” concept applies, we will update this Policy.

13. International users

Lobby Tennis is operated from the United States, with a focus on the Richmond, Virginia metro and U.S. users. Information is processed in the United States.

We do not design the soft launch for other countries. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand that U.S. practices and laws may apply to processing.

14. Third-party links

The site may link to park department pages, maps, social media, or other external sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information there.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.

For material changes, we may also email people on our list when we have their address, or show a notice on the site. Continued use after an update may mean you accept the revised Policy.
