Battery Park sits at Hawthorne and Overbrook, and the city’s own page will tell you Arthur Ashe learned to play on these courts. The lights are the push-button kind, which makes a Northside evening session honest instead of hopeful. Drop-ins and meetups belong here. So does anyone coming down from Barton Heights or Ginter Park.
